Heysham 2021 Match Report

The first Parrots outing of 2021 took place at Heysham Golf Club on 21st April in cold but dry conditions. In a close contest, it was a first victory by one of the new lads from the taxi ranks in an afternoon field of 21 players. Both Warren Murphy and Steve Fineman had an excellent 37 pts in the afternoon, but it was Steve who took the 1st prize cash on the dreaded countback. Well done Steve!

Up and coming new Fleetwood GC member Mel Johnson won the morning prize with an excellent 20pts. There was also nearest the pin prizes for Trevor Middleton and Dave Bamber (unless you know different!! I couldn't remember) and a longest drive prize won by yours truly (I remembered that one!)
